It is a non-flammable electronic vapourizing device, which requires
no ignition. Nicotine liquid (Glo Juice) present in the nicotine
cartridge is vapourized by the atomizer which, in turn, has the
battery as its power source. When the user takes a “drag” on the
electronic cigarette, an air flow sensor detects air flow and
switches on the atomizer. The atomizer creates a dense, nicotine
laden, mist by vapourizing the Glo Juice. This
mist is inhaled by the user, and nicotine is delivered to the user
in the way that they are most accustomed to: Inhalation to the lungs
and mucous membranes of mouth and throat.
The “smoke” that is exhaled is actually water vapour which disperses
almost immediately. The exhaled water vapour has been tested to
contain no known toxins and is almost totally devoid of any smell.
Whilst the Glo product closely emulates the tactile, emotional and
psychological aspects of smoking, clinical nicotine delivery is only
one tenth that of regular cigarettes and the smoker needs to go
through an “adjustment period” when first using the product.
