Visual Art Visual art gives me the opportunity to interact and respond to my personal experiences in a creative way. Making art is a opportunity to explore materials, processes and techniques in the realisation of conceptual ideas and processes. Although I often work with traditional media my main focus is on using new media technologies in my work. Digital technology has fundamentally changed the way art is made and is a central part of our post-industrial digital culture. It gives the artist boundless possibilities for expression and experimentation. What I enjoy about the medium is that its less rigid in its application. In this regard I can match my executing method to my conceptual style of playing with themes and ideas. You can be noncommittal when you start working and have space for non destructive experimentation and new outcomes.
